My not so boring life...

So I finally met a really awesome guy:) Basically there's nothing wrong with him. Wait- he lives in laval. So yeah- I have a boyfriend who lives across the continent. But I love him- i can't help it:):) He's pretty much just awesome.

O God

I can't even think right now. O my god, i'm so overwhelmed. Stampede feels like it should have been a dream. Here's everything that happened within the past two weeks:

1. I became a suite attendant at the stampede which is awesome. Basically I don't work nearly as hard.

2. I saw phantom of the opera, AMAZING!

3. My sister got sent to the hosptial, dunno when she's coming home. Almost broke down during the stampede cause I was so worried. I hope she'll be ok soon... She's been there almost a week:(

4. Started working doubles to replace a guy who got fired for stealing vodka. This guy is a friend of mine, and suddenly i find out he's an alcoholic who steals shit.

5. I went back to my hold job at bootlegger today. I HATE it. I'm sick of people bitching at me cause people don't buy crap from our store. Its not my bloody fault.

Now all this shit is floating randomly in my brain... God its confusing.

Soccer Update

So last time i posted i was cheering for Ukraine. Well now they're gone, but I sill love them. What can I say? They did there best, and I think it was an impressive effort. They were SO cute after the game, hugging and exchanging jerseys with the italians. Argentina not so cute. Yes Germany won, but Argentina are sore losers. And now frings might now get to play:( And Brazil is out!!!! Didn't see that one coming, i'm SO proud of France. On the other hand, england is out *tear.* What can I say, they had to play without owen, beckham or roony. How was that a red card? He barely pushed Christiano. If the ref had given him a yellow for the tackle, and then a yellow for the push, MAYBE I could have seen it. However, the ref DID NOT pull a card until he was approached by christiano. Though luck england. Its not like Portugal can handle France anyways. By the way, I am SO proud of Hargreaves. He's Calgarian, and he got man of the match :) I can't watch the game today :( but i will be watching tmr.

So, who's excited for friday's games? First up, intense match between Argentina and Germany. I'm supporting Argentina, actually for no REAL valid reason... Except the nice people from argentina i met last year. My friends are ALL supporting germany, so there might be interesting confrontations. Up next, Ukraine and Italy. I LOVE the Ukraine. Why? First of all i'm Ukrainian. Second, who doesn't love the underdog story? Third, Italy deserves to lose. Sorry guys, you're playing like crap. Australia deserved to win that last game. Finally, SHOVKOVSKIY!!!!!! The Ukrainian goalie is aweseome and I love him so much. If you haven't seen the match highlights, watch his first save and also the shootout.

Haven't posted in so long...

So this is my first post in ages. First of all GRAD!!!! (Yes it was almost a month ago, but i haven't posted in that long.) Besides, this is more than likely going to be a post on how much my life sucks, so lets start is off on a positive note, shall we?


This is me with my dress and fancy hair and stuff... I spent way too much money!

Unfortunately grad was over a month ago, and school still isn't finished. EXAMS ARE BRTUAL!!! I had a 3 hour exam for social, english, and french on wensday thursday and friday. Yesterday was my chem final. Next week I have 3 more multiple choice tests, all in a row again. Seriously, I've never been under this much stress in my life! Did i mention that every test is worth 50% of my final grade? By the way, if my mark falls below 88% they'll kick me out of UBC. Life sucks.

TRACK

Look- I'm running, in hidious aberhart orange i might add. Have I metioned before that I love track??? Yeah we had a meet on friday, It was pretty much awesome. My frist race was at 8:40, 800m, and i beat my pb and got 5th. I was happy, cause I HATE HATE HATE that race. I'm a distance runner, and 800 is just an extended sprint. I spent the rest of the day raking sand in the longjump pit. That was a stupid move on my part, cause I think I had heatstroke by the time my 3:40 race came around. It was the 1, 500 m race, and I ran the worst race of my life. The problem was, the first place girl started the race off really slow, and I thought if i could just keep up with her i'd be doing really well because she's way faster than me anyway. So we all ran the lap in 1:40, which is TERRIBLE and had to speed up afterwards. So after slacking off on the first lap, I got back on pace, and was in an easy fourth most of the race, with the fifth place girl half a lap behind me. So as I got to the finish line my coach started screaming that she was right on my tail. I laughed at him cause there's no way someone can make up a half lap in a minute. Actually i'm an idiot and she beat me by a millisecond. Somehow with all my screw-ups I still came in fifth, and I was only behind my pb by a few milliseconds. So in the end, I made cities in both my events. YAY!

Quick note at the end of this... It feels wrong posting a happy entry with everything thats been happening lately. I DO feel terrible... I just have a problem with talking about these issues on my blog. It feels wrong talking about stuff like that on my blog, because it is a public thing, and posting my own oppinions on someone else's life seems wrong. Its not that I don't care- its just not something I feel I understand well enough to make a comment on. Much love to EVERYONE involved, and you know who you are. If there's anything I can do for ANYONE, let me know ok? I'm here and I feel for you.
